Felipe Inoa (born 1978) is a native Dominican electronic musician, songwriter, and record producer currently running his record label Shamati Records from New York City. His remixing and production skills has taken him to remix for Depeche Mode, Schiller, Armin Van Buuren, Sinead O'Connor and many more, earning him credentials like like the Billboards Dance/Club Play Charts and the Oscars Academy Awards for his cinema post-production works.
From his first sold out release followed by a substantial support by high profile DJs worldwide, Inoa has proven that when it comes to his passion, what matters is not quantity but the quality of his productions with which he can stand ax-to-ax with any of the future maestros.
His first original productions were included in the known Eightball Records catalog having top sales and high rankings. He is also known for his smash hit remix of Depeche Mode - ‘Enjoy The Silence' which was officially released in the DEPECHE MODE - ENJOY THE SILENCE REMIXED in 2007.
His Billboard Club-Play Chart hitters are Sinead O'Connor - 'Troy' (Top #1); Schiller - 'I Feel You' (Top #5), and Bobby O ("Pet Shop Boys" & "Divine" producer ) - ‘Excited’ (Top #8)
His first mixed compilation CD was released under Radikal Records, with the proper title “Tribal / Underground:
The Progressive and Dark Side of House Music” a compilation that brought exciting Industry reviews.
Inoa's talent has climbed the to the Cinema Post-production credits which includes: - Oscars nominated and winner Shorts: For Animation and Live Action, including “I Met The Walrus” featuring John Lenon. - “Iron Maiden, Flight 666”, about the last tour of this legendary band. - “Control”, about the life and death of lead singer of the revolutionary band Joy Division, Ian Curtis. Band that would be known later as New Order. - “Joy Division”, about the starting up of the band until their present success as New Order. - “Queen, Return To The Champions”, legendary concert. - “Abba, The Movie” - “Sympathy For The Devil” directed by Jean-Luc Godard; featuring The Rolling Stones. - and various musicals, such as the complete 2009 HD series of “The Metropolitan Opera”.
