Italy-based dj, producer and remixer, Matt Loki is one of the upcoming start emerging. His passion for music started since his childhood: he started singing in real young age, played piano since he was 6 years old, and guitar during the first years of high school. Year after year his passion for dance music kept growing, and exploded in the magical 90's, when the Snap and Haddaway could not be missing in each music tape he was listening to.
Traveling around Europe made him discover new sounds, new melodies: the best way to combine his passion for guitar, piano and voice with dance music. After a long stay in Sweden he found the right inspiration to begin the adventure of production.
His tracks and remixes, combining the sounds of electro, progressive and trance found the support of international labels and artists.
The collaboration with Phoenix Recordings and his remix for the great trance maker Dave202 (the song was "Departure" supported by many of the biggest djs and producers in the world) set the take off of his career.
He played in many clubs all over Italy, at the great "FRIDGE" in London, and in Bulgaria, before playing with John O'Callaghan in Italy.
Recently Matt sign his first remix on Armada Music thanks to the collaboration with the great dj and producer Fabio Xb. “Close To The Stars”, on Armada, has been released on S107 and Matt's remix took its place alongside with names such as Myon and Shane 54 and Jerome Isma-ae.
